Suno Prompts: Lyrics and Music Style Examples
Start with practical Suno prompts for a song idea, a musical style, or an instrumental. Adapt the examples, then try them in the song generator.
Separate the story from the sound
In Simple mode, describe who the song is for, one specific moment, and the feeling. In Custom mode, put sung words in Lyrics and musical instructions in Styles. Avoid placing production instructions in lines you want sung.
Write a focused music style prompt
Choose a genre, a few instruments, a pace, and a vocal character. Start with a short coherent description. Listen to the result and change one aspect at a time; these examples are starting points, not guarantees of a particular sound.
Do Suno prompts need lyric tags?
You can write your own lyrics without section labels. Optional labels such as [Verse] and [Chorus] can suggest structure. Keep your lyrics in the language you want sung, and select Instrumental when you do not want vocals.
Using Suno and suno.ai references
These examples describe a music-prompt workflow. Suno Film is independent of Suno; this is not the official Suno or suno.ai website. Model behavior can vary, so audition the generated tracks before making your video.
